Thanks to the Horadric Cube: From Nothing to Gold
A guide to crafting Items with any desired Affixes
## What is the goal?
The goal is to create an amulet with +Crit Damage, +Vulnerable Damage, +to Shock Skills, and +to All Skills such as the following from nothing:
[Image here](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1504510384747319336/1504510385649221744/image.png?ex=6a2a2fbc&is=6a28de3c&hm=646c528fdfad49c1d1d2b8355d0ea62c4b7cbff1021d80a78ccb50f2d66e413a&=&format=webp&quality=lossless)
We do this using the Horadric Cube and the Occultist to roll all of our desired stats onto an amulet, there are no prerequisites for the amulet for this, aside from it being item level 900.
If you happen to already have an Amulet with + to All skills the process is much easier and this guide will probably not help you.
## Why use such an amulet as a Sorcerer?
In the current season, obtaining a good Winterglass is both expensive and time-consuming. In addition, extra skill points in @[Unstable Currents|/assets/img/skills/loh/458680120.webp|active](skill:7022) are extremely valuable. Getting a Winterglass with + to All Skills or + to Shock Skills is incredibly rare, which is why many Sorcerers have started replacing Winterglass with regular amulets.
This also provides an additional advantage: when transfiguring the item in the Horadric Cube, you can potentially gain a second + to All Skills roll. However, the chance is very low, and getting this on a good Winterglass is very very unlikely.
## Requirements:
- Several ancestral amulets (gray, blue, or yellow all work — just not orange or unique items!)
- Tuning Prisms
- Around 3 billion gold
[info]The easiest way to find ancestral amulets is by running an Escalation Nightmare Dungeon with the Obol subtype and then spending your Obols on amulets. The easiest way to obtain Prisms is by running "Tributes of Ingenuity" in the Undercity with friends.[/info]
## Step-by-step Guide:
1. Go to the Horadric Cube and remove all affixes using the appropriate Tuning Prisms. [info]You can keep Intelligence / Maximum Life / Resistance to any Type /+ to any Skills, as we will add them back in the next step.[/info]
2. Use two Adept’s Tuning Prism (from now on called “yellow”) to roll ==+ to [any] Skill== and ==Intelligence== onto the amulet (“Add Affix”).
3. Use a Protector’s Tuning Prism to roll ==Maximum Life== onto the amulet. If you do not get it on the first try, use a focused reroll with a Protector's Tuning prisms until you get it.
4. Add ==any Resistance== as the 4th affix using a Chromatic Tuning Prism. [info]It does not matter which resistance you get.[/info]
#### Checkpoint 1:
You should now have the following amulet:
- ==Intelligence==
- ==+ to [any] Skill==
- ==Maximum Life==
- ==[any] Resistance==
5. Go to the Occultist and enchant the Intelligence affix on your amulet.
[warning]Do NOT reroll away from Intelligence! If you do, you must reroll it back to Intelligence.[/warning]
6. Go back to the Horadric Cube and use a yellow Prism for a “Focused Reroll” from “+ to [any] Skill” into ==+2 to Shock Skills==.
#### Checkpoint 2:
You should now have the following amulet:
- ==Intelligence==
- ==+2 to Shock Skills==
- ==Maximum Life==
- ==[any] Resistance==
This is where the gold-intensive part begins: rerolling the enchantment.
7. Go back to the Occultist and reroll the Intelligence affix until you get “+2 to All Skills”.
[info]This affix can appear, but it is quite rare. Personally, I stopped once a single reroll cost 20 million gold. Whenever that happened, I restarted from Step 1 with a new amulet. If you have more gold than Prisms, you can continue, but the cost will increase rapidly.[/info]
8. Go back to the Horadric Cube and remove ==Maximum Life== using a blue Prism, and remove the ==Resistance== using a Chromatic Prism. [info]We only needed these so they could not be hit during the enchanting process.[/info]
#### Checkpoint 3:
You should now have the following amulet:
- ==+2 to All Skills==
- ==+2 to Shock Skills==
Starting from this point we can use following diagram to add good affixes and reroll/remove bad affixes until we get ==Vulnerable Damage== and ==+Crit Damage==.

[info] Only Aggressive Tuning prisms are used during this part of the process. A blue arrow signifies adding an affix, a red arrow signifies removing an affix, a green arrow signifies a focused reroll. [/info]
If you cannot make sense out of the diagram I will explain the steps in detail here, all prisms used here are Aggressive Tuning Prisms unless stated otherwise:
1. Add an Affix.
2. If you get ==Crit Damage== OR ==Vulnerable Damage==
-> Continue to the next Checkpoint.
3. If you get something else:
-> Use “Focused Reroll” with a red Prism until you hit either ==Crit Damage== or ==Vulnerable Damage==
#### Checkpoint 4:
You should now have:
- ==+2 Shock Skills==
- ==+2 All Skills==
- ==Crit Damage== OR ==Vulnerable Damage==
- no 4th affix
4. Use “Add Affix” to add the 4th affix.
5. If you hit the missing affix between ==Vulnerable Damage== or ==Crit Damage==:
You are done! 🎉
6. If not use “Focused Reroll” with a red Prism.
7. If you reroll the bad affix into either ==Vulnerable Damage== OR ==Crit Damage==:
You are done! 🎉
8. If you reroll the bad affix into another bad affix you can use another "Focused Reroll" to try again.
9. If you reroll the good affix into a bad one use "Remove Affix" and remove one of the bad ones. You can now reroll the remaining bad one until you hit ==Crit Damage== or ==Vulnerable Damage== and restart from checkpoint 4.
## Result
In the end, you should now have an amulet with all the desired affixes!
I hope this guide was helpful.
