Frequently Asked Questions

What are Greater Affixes?

Greater Affixes are 50% stronger versions of normal affixes and appear randomly on legendaries and uniques. They are marked with a star in the tooltip and also grant extra tempering attempts.

What are inherent affixes?

Inherent affixes are slot-typical base stats that every item of that slot carries automatically — such as movement speed on boots or critical strike chance on swords.

How do I change affixes on my items?

At the Occultist you can reroll one affix via enchanting; tempering at the blacksmith adds extra affixes from manuals. Masterworking then raises all values percentually.
