Overview
The Rogue in Diablo 4 is a deadly agile fighter that combines melee and ranged attacks with lethal precision. Masters of stealth, traps, and poisons, Rogues can adapt to any situation with their versatile skill set and rapid attack speed.

Energy regenerates over time and is spent on Core Skills. Combo Points, generated by Basic Skills, enhance Core Skills with additional effects and damage when consumed. Managing the interplay between Energy and Combo Points is central to Rogue gameplay.
Specialization
Rogues choose one of three Specializations: Combo Points (enhance skills with stacking bonuses), Inner Sight (mark enemies to gain unlimited Energy), or Preparation (reduce Ultimate cooldown through skill use). Each Specialization fundamentally changes the flow of combat.
Playstyle
Rogues excel at rapid, precise combat with builds focused on Twisting Blades melee, Barrage ranged attacks, Flurry close-range barrages, or Death Trap burst damage. Imbuement skills (Poison, Shadow, Cold) add elemental effects to any attack, creating diverse build possibilities.

Combo Points
Your Basic Skills now generate Combo Points. Core Skills Consume Combo Points for additional effects.
Inner Sight
Attack enemies to fill your Inner Sight gauge. Marked enemies fill it faster. When full, restore 300 Energy, and gain 100% Energy Cost Reduction, 25% Critical Strike Chance, and 25% Critical Strike Damage for 4 seconds.
Preparation
Spend 75 Energy to reduce your Ultimate Skill's Cooldown by 5 seconds. Ultimate Skills reset other Cooldowns and grant 15% Damage Reduction for 10 seconds.
